Cops arrested an SUV driver who fatally struck a 46-year-old man walking along the Grand Central Parkway in Queens on Halloween.
Sharisa Hanson, 40, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle license violation.
Police charged that at 9:43 p.m. Oct. 31, Hanson was behind the wheel of a 2017 Infiniti SUV heading east on the highway when she hit the man near 29th Ave. in Astoria. The man died at the scene; police have not yet identified him.
According to cops, the man was trying to cross the highway at an area not intended for pedestrians. Hanson remained at the scene and was later transported by EMS to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills hospital in stable condition.
Hanson’s arraignment in Queens Criminal Court was pending Monday.
