Taylor Swift’s favorite Rhode Island venue insists that, contrary to reports, the billionaire pop superstar did not pay off another couple to get their June 2026 wedding date.
Stephanie Leavitt, the area director of sales and marketing for the five-star Ocean House hotel in the Watch Hill neighborhood of Westerly, told TMZ that it “would not and is not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date,” which in this case is reported to be June 13.
Swift, whose birthday is Dec. 13, famously counts the number as her favorite.
Leavitt said that selecting the dreamy resort as a wedding venue “is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family.”
Wanting to maintain privacy, Leavitt would not confirm whether anyone is set to tie the knot that weekend, let alone who that hypothetical couple might be.
Swift — whose Rhode Island “holiday house” is located just down the street from the Ocean House hotel — announced her engagement to Travis Kelce in late August. She and three-time Super Bowl champ have been together since the summer of 2023.
