A teenager was wounded in a broad-daylight shooting Wednesday at a NYCHA housing complex in Queens, police said.
Cops responded to a 911 call of an assault at the Ocean Bay Apartments in Far Rockaway around 4:42 p.m. near Beach 51 St. and Almeda Ave. in Edgemere — finding a 16-year-old boy shot in the right leg, authorities said.
EMS transported the teen to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
There were no immediate arrests in the attack and police continued to search for the gunman Wednesday evening.
