Pat Finn, who starred in “The Middle,” “Friends,” “Seinfeld,” and more hit TV programs, has died after a cancer battle. He was 60.
Finn passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Los Angeles while surrounded by his family, TMZ confirmed Wednesday.
Comedian Jeff Dye shared a tribute to Finn on X after the news of his death broke.
“I don’t like to be the guy who post pics with celebrities that pass. But this guy wasn’t just a celebrity to me. He was a friend,” Dye, 42, wrote. “One of the best dudes I knew with a PERFECT sense of humor. I love you Pat Finn and I’ll see again in the after , we can sing together and shake our heads about all the meannes in the used to be.”
Finn famously played Bill Norwood on 23 episodes of “The Middle” from 2011 to 2018.
The ABC sitcom, which followed a lower middle class family in a small town in Indiana, starred Patricia Heaton, Neil Flynn, Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher, Atticus Shafer, Chris Kattan and Daniella Bobadilla.
