‘This Is Us’ star Milo Ventimiglia in tears after home burns down in LA fires days before wife gives birth

Milo Ventimiglia fought back tears after he visited the charred remains of his Malibu home, which burned to the ground in the horrific LA fires — just days before his wife is due to give birth.

The “This Is Us” alum, 47, and his wife Jarah Mariano were forced to evacuate their home Tuesday after their neighborhood was deemed in the risk zone of the Palisades fire, which has burned nearly 20,000 acres.

“You start thinking about all the memories and the different parts of the house and whatnot and then you see your neighbors’ houses and everything around and your heart just breaks,” he told CBS Evening News on Thursday.

“And at a certain point, we just turned it off. What good is it to continue watching? We kind of accepted the loss.”

“It’s not lost on me, life imitating art,” Ventimiglia said of the parallel.

Still, Ventimiglia is hopeful that they’ll be able to get their living arrangements back on track soon enough.

“We got good friends, and we got good people we’re working with, and we’ll make do. Wife and baby and dog, most important,” he added.

Ventimiglia’s former co-star Moore and her husband were lucky enough to find a large portion of their home miraculously standing in Altadena, Calif., after being forced to evacuate.

Elsewhere, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were forced to flee their home and sought shelter at a hotel with their four children, four dogs, and pet bearded dragon.
