Timothée Chalamet refused to do ‘Babygirl’ skit on ‘SNL’

Chloe Fineman can look, but she can’t touch.

The “Saturday Night Live” star, 36, revealed on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that Timothée Chalamet shut down her skit ideas when he hosted the NBC show on Jan. 25.

“I will say I pitched a lot of us, like, touching, or like ‘Babygirl,’ and he’s giving me milk,” Fineman said, referring to the steamy bar scene from the Nicole Kidman movie where she has an affair with her much-younger intern.

But according to Fineman, Chalamet “wasn’t really having” her pitches.

The comedian, who loves to give her go-to impression of Chalamet on “SNL,” was asked by a “WWHL” caller why she didn’t impersonate the actor when he was on the show last month.

“I’ve been saying, I feel like I’ve done it twice already this year without him, and I really feel like I’m leaning more, like, L Word,” Fineman explained.

“I don’t know. I’m a lot older than him. I just feel like I’m this cool les lady,” she added.

Fineman also noted that she thinks it’s “sort of embarassing” to do her impression of Chalamet now that they know each other.

“I feel like this weird older woman, being like, ‘Hey, little boy, can I put your sweatpants on?’” she said. “Cause I’ve worn his. Sometimes I’ll wear his real clothes doing it, which was really fun.”

Fineman played the Oscar nominee on “SNL” in November for a sketch about the Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest that got shut down by police in New York.

The skit involved Fineman’s Chalamet showing up in the middle of a musical sketch about NY set inside a Duane Reade store in the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and also featured the episode’s host, John Mulaney, alum Pete Davidson, and most of the show’s cast.

During another “SNL” episode in December, Fineman played Chalamet in Buzfeed’s red carpet coverage of “The Complete Unknown,” as the show poked fun at his Bob Dylan movie.

During his opening monologue, the “Wonka” star poked fun at his award show losses.

Later on, he did a sketch where he played an instructor at a workout class, and sparked backlash for making a joke about former President Jimmy Carter, who died in December at age 100.

The incident happened during the “Bungee” skit that featured several of the show’s stars, including Fineman.
