A 1-year-old boy was fatally struck by a BMW driver in a parking garage next door to the victim’s family’s Queens apartment building, police said Sunday.
Little Imron Bakhtiyorov was hit by the driver of a 2025 BMW X4 in the garage on 98th St. near 62nd Drive in Rego Park about 7:40 p.m. Saturday , cops said.
Medics rushed Imron to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens but he could not be saved.
The boy’s parents were present during the crash, cops said. The driver and the child’s family are not related, police said.
The 29-year-old driver stayed at the scene and faced no immediate charges as cops continue to investigate the crash.
