Tory Lanez was stabbed in prison and rushed to the hospital, according to TMZ.
The 32-year-old rapper was reportedly stabbed by another inmate in the yard at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi on Monday morning.
Sources told the outlet that the motivation for the alleged attack is unclear.
An ambulance reportedly took Lanez to a civilian hospital in Bakersfield.
His stabbing injury is non-life-threatening, per TMZ.
The Post reached out to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and Lanez’s rep for comment.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is currently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.
He posted an Instagram photo with other inmates from jail last week and claimed his new album will be dropping soon.
“UPDATE : 2025 …. IYKYK 🤫. LESS IMPORTANT UPDATE : 2ND ALBUM 100 % RECORDED, MIXED & MASTERED 💿 NEW ALBUM. NEW GENRE : S—-Y BASS 🪘SUMMER 2025,” he wrote.
In December 2022, Lanez was convicted of three felonies: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
Lanez received his 10-year sentence in August 2023 after a judge rejected his lawyers’ motion for a new trial.
Megan, 30, testified during the trial and claimed that the shooting erupted while she and Lanez were driving back from a party at Kylie Jenner’s house. The “WAP” rapper said Lanez fired the gun at her feet and shouted for her to dance as she walked away from an SUV in which they had been riding.
“I’m in shock. I’m scared,” Megan recalled during her testimony. “I hear the gun going off and I can’t believe he’s shooting at me.”
The Grammy winner said she had surgery to remove bullet fragments from her feet. She also claimed that Lanez offered her $1 million to keep quiet about the incident, as he was on probation at the time.
In January, Megan was granted a five-year restraining order against Lanez that is effective until 2030 after she claimed he was harassing her from prison through surrogates.
“I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again, and maybe this time I won’t make it,” she reportedly said in court.
Lanez responded to her restraining order request in December and accused her of “weaponizing the justice system” against him, according to People magazine.
Megan’s attorney, Mari Henderson, clapped back at Lanez in a statement and called him “delusional.”
He is eligible for parole in 2029.
