Travis Kelce played peacemaker at a Kansas City Chiefs practice after a fight broke out between his teammates.
Kelce got in the middle of the brawl when the Chiefs’ O-lineman Josh Simmons and defensive end Ashton Gillotte started exchanging blows during the team’s workout.
In a clip posted on X, the tight end is seen running toward the fight to help deescalate the training camp dispute. Simmons and Gillotte eventually broke apart and returned to their huddles.

This comes after several teams, including the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons have also seen physical alterations on the field during their trainings. The New England Patriots coach, Mike Vrabel, issued a firm warning to his team.
“If you throw a punch, you’re going to get kicked out of the game, which is going to cost the team,” Vrabel said on Monday. “So I don’t anticipate any of that.”
The Chiefs have been practicing in preparation for another NFL season, which may be Kelce’s last. The podcast host is getting back to work after a romantic summer with his girlfriend of nearly two years, Taylor Swift.
Swift is reportedly “really looking forward” to coming out in support of Kelce at his games this season.
“Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she’s not juggling a packed tour schedule,” a source told People.
After the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss in February, Kelce told reporters he felt like he “failed … especially in that last game, in being a leader.”
But Kansas City head coach Andy Reid says Kelce is “doing a great job.”
“He’s in great shape…You can see he’s been working out. You saw him yesterday on the long run where he had the burst. He’s done a nice job.”
