Trump applauds ‘evil, corrupt’ Nancy Pelosi’s retirement: ‘Great thing for America’

WASHINGTON — President Trump was delighted by the news that his longtime adversary, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is retiring at the end of her term in January 2027.

“The retirement of Nancy Pelosi is a great thing for America. She was evil, corrupt, and only focused on bad things for our country,” Trump told Fox News. “She was rapidly losing control of her party.”
