Trump reignites feud with Rosie O’Donnell after she moves to Ireland

President Trump reignited his old feud with nemesis Rosie O’Donnell, who announced on Tuesday that she moved to Ireland just days before the Republican boss returned to power in January.

His insult came Wednesday during a White House visit from Irish leader Micheál Martin, where right-wing pundit Brian Glenn asked the prime minister “why in the world [he would] let Rosie O’Donnell move to Ireland.”

“Thank you, I like that question,” Trump said as Martin awkwardly indicated he had no idea what Glenn was referencing.

“Do you know who she is? You’re better off not knowing her,” Trump said as Oval Office reporters clamored to ask questions on trade and world affairs.

O’Donnell on Tuesday posted a TikTok video saying she fled to Ireland on Jan. 15, less than a week before Trump’s inauguration. She expressed sadness over the current state of the U.S. and claimed she’d consider moving back when the nation seemed “safe” to her again.

“It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well,” the 62-year-old comedian lamented. “The personal is political, as we all know.”

O’Donnell and Trump have a long history of insulting one another. Most notably, when asked during a 2016 presidential debate why he refers to women as “pigs” and “slobs,” Trump replied, “Only Rosie O’Donnell.”

Glenn — who works for Real America’s Voice and dates Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene — has become effective at stirring up drama during Oval Office meetings.

When Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the White House on Feb. 28, he added fuel to an already intense situation by making fun of the Ukrainian leader’s clothing.

“Why don’t you wear a suit? Do you own a suit?” Glenn badgered Zelenskyy, who wears outfits resembling the battle fatigues worn by his citizens while they’re at war with Russia.
