Trump tips DoorDash driver $100 for McDonald’s delivery at Oval Office

WASHINGTON — President Trump tipped a DoorDash driver with a $100 bill after she delivered two bags of McDonald’s to the Oval Office Monday.

The worker, identified by the company as Sharon Simmons, hand-delivered Trump’s favored fast food to the commander-in-chief on the colonnade outside the West Wing.

“This doesn’t look staged,” joked the president, who used the delivery to promote his “no tax on tips” initiative with the filing deadline for most Americans two days away.

“The no tax on tips is something special. It’s very special,” the president said.

When asked if Sharon got a good tip, the president reached into his pocket, pulled out the Benjamin and handed it to her.

“Yes,” she replied.
