Saturday morning, a Department of Buildings partial-vacate order was visible pasted on the place’s front door — specifically applying to one second-floor apartment. The notice stated that in the apartment’s rear, there were “sloping and sagging” floors, with a roughly 2-inch gap between the molding and floor. These “potentially hazardous conditions” had rendered the apartment “unsafe to occupy,” the order said.
