One man was killed and another wounded in a Bronx shooting that led to two arrests after a monthlong manhunt, police said Wednesday.
John Medina, 35, was shot in the chest, and a 42-year-old man was shot in the groin on Bruckner Blvd. and E. 136th St. in Mott Haven about 10:30 p.m. April 22, cops said.
The two victims showed up at Lincoln Hospital by private means and Medina died there the next day. The other victim was treated and released.
On Monday cops arrested Raul Camuez, 33, after cops executed a search warrant on his Baychester home and recovered the murder weapon, police sources said. Also arrested Monday was Marcus Toolsie, 27, of Linden, N.J. Both suspects are charged with murder and manslaughter.
Both men were ordered held without bail during brief arraignment appearances in Bronx Criminal Court on Tuesday. A motive for the shooting was not immediately disclosed.
Medina lived in the Highbridge section of the Bronx, according to cops.
