Blonde bombshell.
Valerie Bertinelli showed off a shocking hair transformation in an Instagram selfie that she shared on Monday.
In the photo, the actress, 65, smiled at the camera while donning blonde locks, writing, “New hair who dis?”
Bertinelli then added, “it’s a wig 🤭.”
She tagged celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, whose clients include Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.
Appleton, 42, commented on the post, “What a stunner 😍.”
Bertinelli got more compliments on her new hairdo from her followers.
“You look beautiful!” one fan wrote.
“You look great with both hair colors. new looks are great to refresh and are really fun,” a different person said.
“Whatever makes you happy, do it,” another follower added.
A fourth fan commented, “You look great with any color hair! 😍.”
On her Instagram Stories, Bertinelli tried to remove the wig from her head, saying, “I have no idea how to get this off.”
“There are a lot of pins in here,” she added, “and my hair is glued to my head.”
At the end of her videos, Bertinelli successfully took her wig off and revealed her natural brunette hair underneath.
Bertinelli previously opened up about dealing with gray hair in an Instagram video last year.
“PSA about filters and gray roots,”she said. “I’m filming with no filter today because some of y’all get really bent out of shape when I choose to use a filter, which I’ve told you about.”
“Sometimes I use filter, and sometimes I don’t. Most of the time, I do use filter because this is me with no makeup, and this is no filter,” the “One Day at a Time” actress explained, before she bent her head down and proudly showed off her gray hair.
Bertinelli has also used her social media platforms to clap back at body-shamers.
After sharing a photo of herself in nothing but her bra and underwear in December, Bertinelli called out critics who judged her body and her reason for posting the image.
“It has taken me a long time to realize that my judgment, with patient discernment, is the only judgment that counts,” she added.
Bertinelli also said that it’s taken her nearly “3 years of emotional labor to get to this point mentally” where she doesn’t care about the cruel comments about her physical appearance.
“For the first time in my life,” Bertinelli added, “I love my body as it is.”
