It’s the start of something new for Vanessa Hudgens as the “High School Musical” alum and husband Cole Tucker are gearing up for baby number two.
Hudgens, 36, and the 29-year-old former MLB shortstop and outfielder announced the news in a joint Instagram post on Saturday, sharing three photos of them beaming during a maternity photo shoot.
The couple, who met in October 2020 during a Zoom meditation hosted by lifestyle podcaster Jay Shetty, tied the knot in December 2023 and welcomed their first child in late June or early July of last year.
Hudgens revealed her first pregnancy when she sported her bump on the 2024 Oscars red carpet, where she was co-hosting the ceremony’s pre-show.
The “Spring Breakers” star has remained relatively mum on her first year of motherhood, and has yet to publicly confirm the name or sex of their child. She did, however, give fans a first look at her little one — without showing the child’s face — in a campaign for a baby product collection in partnership with Cool Brands.
To celebrate her first Mother’s Day this May, Hudgens shared a black-and-white portrait of her cradling her bump with an open blazer, calling motherhood “the hardest, most exhausting but also incredibly fulfilling and joyous chapter of my life.”
