Aimee Lou Wood who?
Walton Goggins didn’t mention his “The White Lotus” co-star who he’s allegedly feuding with when he hosted “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
Goggins, 53, helmed the episode alongside musical guest Arcade Fire after the NBC sketch comedy series mocked Wood’s teeth in the viral “The White Potus” skit last month.
While Goggins didn’t mention Wood, 31, he did bring up their hit HBO series.
“Most of you probably know me from ‘The White Lotus.’ No spoilers, but I die,” he quipped.
“Some of my friends have even asked me, ‘What does it feel like to become a sex symbol at 53 years old?’” the actor who played Rick continued. “And you know what, if I’m being honest, it feels fantastic.”
“At least it did, until I Googled myself and read some of the headlines,” Goggins added before highlighting news articles about his “receding hairline” to which he responded, “I’ve had the same hairline since I was seven. It’s not receding, it’s holding its ground.”
Additionally, Goggins’ close pal and “White Lotus” co-star, Sam Rockwell, made a cameo appearance in a musical sketch during the episode.
The speculation about Wood and Goggins’ alleged feud started when fans noticed that they didn’t follow each other on Instagram after the Season 3 finale aired in April. The actors recently started following each other again.
The pair also sparked feud rumors when they didn’t do press together to promote the HBO show or tag one another in Instagram cast photos.
Plus, Goggins praised the “White Lotus” parody on “SNL” that made fun of Wood’s teeth last month. The British actress was upset over the sketch and slammed the series on Instagram.
More recently, Goggins refused to address his relationship with Wood when a London Times interviewer tried three times to ask about the alleged feud.
“I’m not gonna have that conversation,” Goggins said in the story published May 2.
Wood, for her part, was asked about Goggins at the Met Gala last week. Both stars attended the event but seemingly avoided each other on the red carpet.
“I actually saw him two days ago. We haven’t had that much time to debrief about everything,” she told Access Hollywood. “So every time we see each other, there’s never time.”
“It’ll be good to see him again tonight, because we saw each other briefly a couple days ago and we were just trying to download everything and the episodes and Rick and Chelsea’s whole story now that we’ve seen it in full,” Wood continued. “There’s just never enough time.”
Wood also shut down the possibility that she’d appear on Goggins’ “SNL” episode — though she did predict he’ll “be incredible” on the show.
“It’s the perfect thing for him to do, he’s going to be hilarious,” Wood said. “I’m so excited to see it.”
