Staind just cleaned up.
On Wednesday, Feb. 4, the heavy rockers their 25th anniversary ‘Breaking The Cycle Tour’ with special guests Seether, Hoobastank and Hinder joining them on select dates.
The 29-concert run unofficially gets underway in May with a handful of festival dates but picks up steam in September and October, which is when they’ll play the lion’s share of their shows.
While out and about, Aaron Lewis and co. have three New York and New Jersey stops planned. They’re scheduled to go down at:
Jones Beach Theater
Wantagh, NY
Monday, Sept. 14
Freedom Mortgage Pavilion
Camden, NJ
Wednesday, Sept. 16
Darien Lake Amphitheatre
Darien Center, NY
Saturday, Sept. 19
If you’d like to see them live, tickets are available on StubHub and Vivid Seats for each and every gig on the nationwide run.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for any one concert was $52 including fees on StubHub.
Prices start at $61 including fees for the Jones Beach show.
As hinted at above, all concerts will celebrate Staind’s chart-topping third studio album “Break the Cycle,” which was released on May 8, 2001. Notable tracks from the record include “It’s Been Awhile,” “Outside,” “For You,” “Epiphany” and “Fade.”
“‘Break the Cycle’ remains consistent as a crown achievement for Staind,” Cryptic Rock wrote in a reverential 15th anniversary retrospective.
“It is an album that has gone five-times platinum and broke the band wide open to the mainstream. The record possesses personal feelings that many can relate to, and continue to do so. With that said, music is supposed to mend, help one find resolve, along with seeing their way through life, and history shows ‘Break the Cycle’ has done just that.”
