Wendy is on the move.
Wendy Williams was photographed heading to dinner in New York City on her mobility scooter Saturday amid her guardianship battle.
The 60-year-old former talk show host was all smiles on her journey to Max Tucci’s NoHo hotspot Tucci.
Williams wore a big fur coat with black leggings and matching Chanel boots. She also rocked red lipstick that matched her manicure.
The TV icon also dined at Tucci last Wednesday night with her niece, Alex Finnie, who was accused of “kidnapping” Williams by the NYC assisted living facility that Williams has been staying at.
Coterie, which is located in Hudson Yards and costs $18,000 per month, filed a police report and claimed Finnie “evaded staff by taking Wendy out of the building.”
In an interview with TMZ after the dinner, Williams called the ordeal “unbelievable.”
“Clearly they are lying to me saying I can go out and do what I want to do. This is my niece Alex. She just flew in from Miami, ok? I just came from the hospital, so we are going out to celebrate,” said Williams, who is back in the living facility.
Two days before her first dinner at Tucci, Williams was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital after she tossed a handwritten note begging for help out of her window.
It was then determined that Williams’ mental capacity was intact. She underwent a psychological examination called a “capacity test” at the hospital and scored a “10 out of 10,” answering all 10 questions used to determine whether she was alert and oriented correctly, per TMZ.
When she called into “The View” on Friday, Williams said she went to the hospital because she “needed a breath of fresh air” and “needed to see the doctors.”
Williams also talked about her March 12 dinner with Finnie that ended with the police being called.
“We stayed here about an hour because we knew we were going out to eat. Just to celebrate, you know, life,” she said. “I was off that floor for a moment. So we went to Tucci’s and we had a great dinner. When we finally got back here there was paparazzi so we stopped. That’s what I do. I stopped, I posed. You know what I’m saying?”
Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia and has been embroiled in a high-profile battle to end the guardianship she’s been under since 2022.
Her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, has previously said Williams had “become cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and incapacitated” from her dementia battle.
But on “The View,” Williams denied that she’s incapacitated.
“I don’t want a guardian. Put it this way, I don’t want Sabrina. Period,” she said. “It’s been over three years. It’s time for my money and my life to get back to status quo.”
