Where to buy tickets, best prices

Karen O and Yeah Yeah Yeahs are coming out of the woodwork again.

After a quick pair of spring and fall 2023 treks in support of their fifth studio album “Cool It Down” — their first official tours since 2013’s ‘Hot Blood World Tour’ — the beloved indie band is returning to the road to play intimate venues this summer.

Their forthcoming ‘Hidden In Pieces Tour’ will shine a light on “songs that are rarely (if ever) performed, alongside all time favorites with new acoustic arrangements to delight…and yes there will be strings too,” according to the band’s Instagram.

The international run will come to a close with back-to-back gigs at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Tuesday, July 29 and Wednesday, July 30.

Although the official on-sale isn’t until Friday, March 21, tickets are available on sites like Vivid Seats as of today.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one show was $73 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $94 to $231 before fees.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs new music

The group’s 2022 “Cool It Down” is eight tracks of exquisitely-crafted rock and roll.

Both lush and heavy, airy and meaningful, the record is a true balancing act of magnificent contradictions.

We recommend starting with the hypnotic opening track “Spitting Off The Edge Of The World” and then try the ethereal, erotic “Lovebomb” and finally the urgent, almost Motown-inspired “Burning.”

Really, for our money, you can’t go wrong with any song on the album, though.

Want to give it a spin? You can listen to all glorious 32.5 minutes of “Cool It Down” here.

Indie rockers on tour in 2025

“Huge” and “indie” might sound like an oxymoron.

Still, we think these five exciting tours that might be coming to a venue near you meet that lofty criteria.

• Death Cab For Cutie

• Vampire Weekend

• Rilo Kiley

• Wilco

• Alabama Shakes
