There’s never been a better time to be a Jill Scott fan.
Just a month after dropping her sixth studio album — and first in 11 years (!) — the three-time Grammy winner announced her ‘To Whom This May Concern World Tour.’
The trek, which shares a name with the record, will send the Philly R&B icon to auditoriums, theaters, performing arts centers, pavilions and music festivals all over North America from June through September 2026.
That includes not one, not two but three concerts at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre. Those shows are scheduled to take place at:
Thursday, July 16
7:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 18
7:30 p.m.
Sunday, July 19
7:30 p.m.
If you’d like to be there, tickets are available for all of her North American ‘To Whom This May Concern’ concerts.
And, after a bit of digging, our team found that the cheapest seats for any one show started at $70 including fees on StubHub at the time of publication.
As for New Yorkers hoping to Scott in Brooklyn, some tickets are going for as low as $131 including fees for her short Kings Theatre stint.
Prior to this outing, the 53-year-old mezzo-soprano last officially toured in 2023 on her ‘Who Is Jill Scott’ run, which celebrated the 23rd anniversary of her debut album.
At those shows, she typically performed fan favorite tracks like “A Long Walk,” “He Loves Me (Lyzel in E-Flat),” “The Way,” “It’s Love” and “Show Me,” according to Set List FM.
“…Jill Scott’s vocals hit better live, and the singer/songwriter did not disappoint when the ‘Who Is Jill Scott?’ tour stopped in Detroit,” This Is RnB wrote in an April ’23 review.
“This was more than a concert, it was a reminder of those moments when we cleaned our house as ‘Love Rain’ played in the background, or when ‘Slowly Surely’ was on repeat after that breakup, or those climatic moments during ‘He Loves Me.’”
While Scott will likely focus on the new record on this jaunt (she shared “I put my ALL into this album” on Instagram), there’s a possibility she’ll reach back into her storied discography.
Either way, a great summer is on the horizon for Scott’s devoted fanbase.

Jill Scott new music
On Feb. 13, Scott dropped her sixth studio album “To Whom This May Concern.”
She doesn’t hold back either.
Over the course of 19 rich, funky tracks, Scott re-asserts herself as a musical force to be reckoned with.
The timeless record begins with a the space-y, spoken-word “Dope S—“ before blasting off onto the jubilant, triumphant “Be Great” feat. Trombone Shorty.
From there, the hits keep coming. Standout tracks on “TWTMC” include the smokey, jazzy, reverential “Offadaback,” head-boppin’ banger “Norf Side” feat. Tierra Whack,” laid-back, NSFW standard “Pay U on Tuesday,” Sly and the Family Stone-esque number “BPOTY” feat. Too $hort and the minimalist, pitter-pattering “Me 4.”
However, the real highlight here might be the thoughtful “Ode to Nikki” feat. Ab-Soul. With razor-sharp flow over a killer hummer of a beat, Scott delivers her powerful work on the record. Worth a listen or three in this humble critic’s opinion.
Although it took 11 years to get to us, “To Whom This May Concern” — which contains R&B, jazz, funk, soul, Hip-Hop and a bit of EDM — was clearly worth the wait.
To hear for yourself, you can find the sonically-diverse, genre-hopping “To Whom This May Concern” here.
PS: Don’t skip the sensual “Don’t Play,” yearning ballad “To B Honest” feat. JID, dance floor anthem “Right Here Right Now” or raw, emotionally resonant, deeply spiritual “Àṣẹ” either. You’ll thank us later.
