For the first time since July 2016, Leslie Odom Jr. is back as Aaron Burr in “Hamilton” on Broadway.
(Editor’s note: sorry, we couldn’t bring ourselves to make yet another “room where it happens” pun).
On Sept. 9, 2025, the Tony-winning actor reprised the role he originated for Lin-Manuel Miranda at the Richard Rodgers Theater for the first time in nine years and brought the house down.
“…seeing Leslie Odom Jr. return to ‘Hamilton’ was a dream come true and somehow even more magical than I ever imagined,” Broadway fan Ashley Hufford wrote on Instagram.
“He’s having so much fun…and got two standing ovations…Leslie, ten years later, you still got it…you have to go see him, whatever it costs. Worth every penny.”
If you’d like to see the gifted thespian live on stage for his limited “Hamilton” run, tickets are available for all 87 of his remaining 2025 Broadway performances.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one show was $347 including fees on Vivid Seats.
Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $364 to $1,733 including fees.
While all of the above may sound expensive, keep in mind that the last time our team reported on ticket prices to see the original Aaron Burr in “Hamilton,” they began at $634 including fees.
For those without a calculator on hand, that can mean up $287 in savings to if you want to shell out for the cheapest seat available.
Not bad at a time when inflation is running rampant.
But wait! There’s more!
After his “Hamilton” run, Odom Jr. will be leaving the production for his 18-concert holiday tour, which runs from Nov. 28 through Dec. 23.
That will include Tri-state area gigs at Morristown, NJ’s Mayo Performing Arts Center on Friday, Nov. 28 and Tarrytown’s Tarrytown Music Hall on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Past Odom Jr. Christmas concerts have included classic covers — think “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “My Favorite Things,” and “‘Twas The Night Before Christmas” — along with a few originals and “Hamilton’s” “Wait For It.”
