“Training Season” is almost upon us.
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, Dua Lipa will launch her four-show Madison Square Garden residency as part of her ongoing ‘Radical Optimism Tour.’
After that, she’ll return on:
Thursday, Sept. 18
Saturday, Sept. 20
Sunday, Sept. 21
If you’d like to see the party-starting, three-time Grammy winner live at the Garden, tickets are available for her quartet of NYC concerts.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one of these big Big Apple gigs was $112 including fees on Vivid Seats.
Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $121 to $144 including fees.
While we don’t know what she’ll bring to stage at these shows, the “Dance The Night Away” singer performed 22 songs at her Sept. 1 Toronto show that kicked off the North American leg of the tour. According to Set List FM, she belted hits like “Houdini,” “Be The One,” “Don’t Start Now,” “One Kiss” and “New Rules.”
“Dua gracefully danced and swayed across the stage, even lighting it up (literally, with a ring of flames) at one point,” Blog Toronto wrote in a review of the show. “From the foot-stomping ‘Maria’ to the scream-inducing ‘Illusion,’ cutesy ‘One Kiss,’ and back again, she never appeared to be tired and always, always had perfect hair.”
“[She delivered] everything and beyond what I expected from a pop concert, Dua Lipa gave us her best, and we…were deeply moved by it.”
That’s not to mention the surprise cover she works into each and every concert. Past gigs have included her interpretations of Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, TLC, Outkast and Aerosmith tunes.

Dua Lipa new music
On May 3, 2024, Dua Lipa dropped her third studio album “Radical Optimism.”
The infectious 11-track record clocks in at a hair over 36.5 minutes and doesn’t waste a single second getting listeners on their feet and grooving.
From the feel-good opener “End Of An Era” to the slinky earworm “Houdini” to the elegantly composed, beat-dropping bop “Training Season,” Lipa will have you feeling the music in no time.
Other standouts include the dance floor ready “Illusion” and galloping “Falling Forever” — which may sneakily be the album’s best song. If you couldn’t tell, we’re fans.
