Where to buy tickets, best prices, schedule

Monty Python fans, this just might be your holy grail.

John Cleese recently unveiled dates for his ‘Not Dead Yet! John Cleese and the Holy Grail at 50 tour.’ As of now, the 85-year-old sketch comedian has 17 shows lined up at theaters, halls and performing arts centers all over North America this fall.

That includes a stop at New York City’s Town Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

At all shows, Cleese will screen the seminal 1975 film, take part in a moderated conversation and participate in an audience Q&A “where he’ll share behind the scenes stories, wit, and wisdom- assuming he remembers any of it” a press release reads.

The very existence of this tour may come as a bit of a surprise to fans of the “Fawlty Towers” funnyman. In 2023, he embarked on his ‘An Evening with the Late John Cleese Tour,’ which appeared to be his swan song.

“Don’t miss your last chance to see me before I die!” he wrote on Instagram in a tour announcement at the time. Clearly, the acerbic comic may have pulled a fast one.

If you want to see Cleese live this time — who knows if this is the last time he hits the road — tickets are available for all shows.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $67 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $71 to $246 before fees.

John Cleese controversy

Over the years, Cleese has spoken out against cancel culture.

“If you’re worried about offending people and constantly thinking of that, you are not going to be very creative,” Cleese said. He called “Roxanne” and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” the last great comedies.

You can read more about his inflammatory remarks at the 2022 FreedomFest in the New York Post.
