It’s beginning to look a lot like Sin City Christmas.
Mariah Carey just announced that rather than take her talents all over the U.S. like she has over the past few years, she’s staying put and this holiday season and conducting a ‘Christmastime in Las Vegas’ residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
Her ten-concert run stretches from Nov. 28 through Dec. 13.
“Excited to bring Christmastime to the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Vegas!” the five-time Grammy winner shared on Instagram.
On last year’s nationwide tour, Carey typically performed 20-27 songs depending on the show, according to Set List FM. When she headlined at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center she took 24 songs to the stage including her all-timer smash “All I Want for Christmas Is You” along with other Yuletide favorites like “Sleigh Ride,” “Joy To The World,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Silent Night” and “Joy To The World.”
Plus, as an added bonus, she threw in non-secular classics “Fantasy,” “We Belong Together” and “Always Be My Baby” from her wide-ranging back catalog into the set list.
“[The 2024 tour] came to an end in front of a crowd donning shimmery Santa hats and red sequin party dresses,” AP News reported about the show. “Carey descended onto the stage in a snowflake-shaped throne, leading the audience into a few church staples: ‘Silent Night’ and ‘O Holy Night’ among them…[and] her children, twins Roc and Roe, joined in on the fun.”
Although we’re not sure what to expect from the 56-year-old “Glitter” star in the Entertainment Capital of the World this November/December, we do know the best way to find out is live.

Ahead of the residency, Carey will belt at Las Vegas’ iHeartRadio Music Festival, which goes down at the T-Mobile Arena Sept. 19-20.

Mariah Carey new music
Ahead of the release of her 16th studio album “Here for It All” (which is due out Sept. 26), Carey dropped a pair of singles.
Up first is the party-starting, dance floor-ready “Type Dangerous,” which is an upbeat pop confection that sounds like a throwback to ’00s chart toppers. We’d call it a true rump shaker.
Next, the New York native unveiled “Sugar Sweet’ with Shenseea and Kehlani. This second single is more in the vein of her sultry ballads. Mimi isn’t reinventing the wheel here but it doesn’t matter- she’s right in her wheelhouse with this track that she described as “very summery.”
