Where to buy tickets, dates

It’s all coming back to Céline Dion now.

The legendary vocalist recently announced that she’s returning to the stage for a ten-concert residency at Paris’ 40,000-seat La Défense Arena starting in September.

Her shows are slated to take place:

Saturday, Sept. 12

Wednesday, Sept. 16

Saturday, Sept. 19

Wednesday, Sept. 23

Saturday, Sept. 26

Wednesday, Sept. 30

Saturday, Oct. 3

Wednesday, Oct. 7

Saturday, Oct. 10

Wednesday, Oct. 14

These gigs will be the five-time Grammy winner’s first full concerts — outside of three one-off performances including an appearance at the 2024 Olympics — since March 8, 2020. Dion’s inactivity is due to her 2022 stiff-person syndrome diagnosis.

“This year I’m getting the best gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again, in Paris,” the legendary vocalist shared on her 58th birthday via Instagram. A light show on the Eiffel Tower accompanied the news once it was made public.

I’m so ready to do this. I’m feeling good. I’m strong. I’m feeling excited. Obviously, of course, a little nervous, but most of all, I’m grateful to all of YOU! I love you all and I’ll see you soon!”

As mentioned above, Dion’s last complete concert was at Newark’s Prudential Center a little over six years ago. According to Set List FM, she performed 18 songs that evening including fan favorites “My Heart Will Go On,” “The Power Of Love” and “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” along with John Lennon and Patti LaBelle covers and a rousing medley of hits like “Let’s Dance,” “Another One Bites The Dust,” “Kiss,” “River Deep, Mountain High” and “Lady Marmalade.”

“Vocally, Céline [was] at her best yet,” Out In Jersey wrote in an emphatic review of the show.

“…some of the standouts [included] her nostalgic performance of ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ as well as her impeccable performance of ‘The Prayer.’”
