In 2023, One OK Rock served as the special guest on Muse and Evanescence’s North American tour.
Just two years later, the Japanese rockers have leveled up to full-on headliner status.
Starting in May, the “Wherever You Are” group will play arenas all over the U.S. and Canada on their ‘Detox Tour’ in support of their upcoming album with the same name due out in February along with special guest Stand Atlantic.
Midway through the nationwide run, Takahiro Moriuchi and co. are scheduled to shred at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Friday, May 30.
“We know you’ve been waiting for this, it’s finally here guys!!” the band shared on Instagram.
For those hoping to get a taste of what to expect from the group’s live show, the band has dropped five singles ahead of “Detox’s” Feb. 21 release date. They can all be heard here.

One OK Rock new music
As noted above, One OK Rock will release their 11th studio album “Detox” on Feb. 21.
In the meantime, you can listen to their four post-grunge, post-hardcore power pop singles to pass the time.
We personally recommend the nimble “Puppets Can’t Control You,” which slowly builds with beeps and blips until Moriuchi’s vocals explode and take the song to the next level.
The anthemic “+Matter,” angsty “Dystopia” and epic “Delusion: All” are all worth checking out, too. If this preview is any indication, this album is going to rip.
You can hear for yourself here.
Stand Atlantic
Bonnie Fraser’s Australian pop punk group formed in Sydney in 2012 and has released four albums since their inception.
