Where to buy tickets, schedule, special guests

LCD Soundsystem is bringing “Someone Great” with them on the road this summer.

James Murphy’s propulsive dance group just announced a second North American leg to their 2025 tour with special guests TV on the Radio and Pulp joining them on select dates in August and September.

Prior to the late summer run, the “Dance Yrself Clean” party-starters will play a handful of April and May gigs with opening act Gustaf.

As of now, LCD Soundsystem doesn’t have any New York gigs booked; the closest they’ll get to the Big Apple is when they drop into Asbury Park, NJ’s Sea.Hear.Now Festival on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Other big names on the bill set to take the stage at the two-day extravaganza on the water include Blink-182, Hozier, Alabama Shakes, Lenny Kravitz and Sublime.

TV on the Radio will be there, too. And, in addition to this festival spot and co-headlining dates with LCD Soundsystem, they’ve also booked a mini-tour of their own this summer.

This sudden burst of TV on the Radio concerts may come as a surprise to fans; before their late 2024 reunion celebrating the 20-year anniversary of their debut album “Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes,” Tunde Adebimpe’s band hadn’t properly toured since 2018.

Fans Disco Infiltrators can purchase tickets for all upcoming North American LCD Soundsystem shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, April 18.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

LCD Soundsystem new music

Fans are likely aware the band hasn’t released a full-length’s album worth of new music since 2017’s “american dream.” Still, James Murphy and co. have kept busy contributing the joyous, longing “new body rhumba” to Noah Baumbach’s 2022 film “White Noise” and dropping the bleep-bloop heavy single “x-ray eyes” in November 2024.

In addition to those two tracks, they also lent their talents to the menacing “Dancer” from IDLES’ 2024 album “TANGK.”

TV on the Radio new music

Although TV on the Radio doesn’t have any new music on the horizon — other than a 2024 reissue of “Desperate Youth and Bloodthirsty Babes” — Tunde Adebimpe recently put out three singles in advance of his forthcoming album “Thee Black Boltz.”

If you’d like to hear the jaunty, pleasant “God Knows,” lo-fi, guttural “Drop” and vital, yelp-y “Magnetic,” click here.

LCD Soundsystem special guests

In addition to TVotR, Pulp and Gustaf will handle opening duties on a few nights with LCD Soundystem.

To make sure you’re familiar with their respective sounds, here’s each acts’ most-streamed song on Spotify.

Pulp: “Common People”

Gustaf: “Book”
