Rough take from Rick.
Walton Goggins isn’t standing by Aimee Lou Wood in her newfound feud with “Saturday Night Live.”
Goggins, 53, supported the sketch comedy show’s parody of “The White Lotus” that mocked his co-star Aimee Lou Wood’s appearance amid their feud rumors.
While Wood, 31, blasted the “White Potus” sketch for being “mean and unfunny,” Goggins commented on on the NBC show’s Instagram clip of the skit and wrote, “Hahahahahhahaha Amazzzingggg.”
In a since-deleted post, Goggins shared the video on his Instagram Story and wrote, “SMASHING.” He also praised host Jon Hamm’s portrayal of his character Rick, adding, “Jon…I knew I was miscast.”
Goggins did not clarify why he deleted the post — which he shared after Wood called the parody “mean and unfunny.”
“Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple weeks ago,” the British actress wrote on her Instagram Stories Sunday. “Yes, take the piss for sure – that’s what the show is about – but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”
After sharing several screenshots of fans DMs that supported her stance against the sketch, Wood revealed, “I’ve had apologies from SNL.”
Wood also clarified that she doesn’t blame Sarah Sherman for parodying her in the skit.
During “The White Potus,” which parodied President Donald Trump and his tariffs, Hamm, 54, acted as Goggins’ Rick while portraying Robert F. Kennedy Jr., while Sherman played Wood’s Chelsea. The sketch mocked Wood’s teeth.
There’s been speculation that Goggins and Wood had a falling out after playing lovers on the third season of the HBO show.
Despite past positive interviews about one another, the actors don’t follow each other on Instagram and didn’t tag each other in their respective tributes to their characters after the season finale that aired April 6.
Additionally, Reddit users pointed out that the pair didn’t do press together to promote the season.
Their co-star Jason Isaacs, who played Tim Ratliff, has revealed in multiple interviews that there was drama between the cast during the show’s filming in Thailand.
“Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost,” Isaacs, 61, previously told Vulture.
“They say in the show, ‘What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand,’ but there’s an off-screen ‘White Lotus’ as well, with fewer deaths but just as much drama,” Isaacs added.
Isaacs also said on SiriusXM’s “The Happy Hour” show that “arguments” went down between the cast, and told fans to stop speculating about the alleged drama.
“Nobody has the slightest clue what they’re talking about,” he said. “People who think they’re onto something, and it then it gets magnified because of a thousand other people. Nobody has any clue.”
