A 60-year-old woman was fatally struck by a Cadillac driver making a turn in Midtown Manhattan, police said Tuesday.
Wendy Davis was crossing Broadway at W. 53rd St. just before 9 p.m. Monday when she was struck by the driver of a black Cadillac XT6 SUV, cops said.
Davis suffered a massive head injury and was rushed to Mount Sinai West, where she died. She lived in Forest Hills, Queens, according to cops.
The 61-year-old driver was heading west on W. 53rd St. and making a left turn onto Broadway when he struck Davis by the crosswalk, cops said.
He remained at the scene. No charges were immediately filed.
The crash occurred less than four blocks from Radio City Music Hall and the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.
