Police are searching for a woman who pummeled a fellow female straphanger on an F train in Manhattan after an argument.
The attacker got into a verbal spat with the older victim, 69, aboard a northbound train at the Delancey St. station on the Lower East Side on March 6 around 1:40 p.m., cops said.
Flying into a rage, the assailant hauled off and punched the other woman in the face multiple times, causing bruising and swelling, before fleeing the station.
EMS brought the victim to New-York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in stable condition.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding the subway attacker. She had short blonde hair and was last seen wearing black glasses, a beige jacket, green shirt, black leggings, white socks and black shoes.
