A 38-year-old woman was killed and a 46-year-old man was wounded early Friday during a bloody Bronx stabbing, cops said.
Cops were called to an apartment building on Macombs Road near Inwood Ave. in Highbridge at about 3:30 a.m. where they found the woman suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest and back.
EMS rushed her to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she died. Her name was not immediately disclosed.
At about the same time, a man stabbed in the same incident showed up at the hospital with a knife wound to his left leg, cops said.
Cops apprehended a person of interest in the stabbing and were questioning the man Friday morning, cops said.
It was not immediately disclosed what sparked the stabbing.
No charges were immediately filed.
