Greetings and salUAEtations!

The United Arab Emirates honored President Trump and the United States with a glorious light tribute of the American flag on the world’s tallest building.

The Burj Khalifa was lit up with the Stars and Stripes as Trump visited the country during his whirlwind trip to the Middle East, according to an Instagram post from the White House.

The White House wrote that the UAE had “saluted America and President Trump — in red, white, and blue.”

UAE’s government media office also shared a video of the dramatic moment the lights changed on the massive edifice on Facebook.

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest structure ever built by man. Dubai’s massive skyscraper measures in at over 2,716 feet tall — nearly 1,000 feet taller than Manhattan’s Freedom Tower, which stands 1,776 feet tall.

While there, the president visited the largest US military base in the Middle East, where he touted an agreement with Qatar that will see the country purchase “$42 billion worth of America’s finest military hardware.”
