Beth and Rip’s story is far from over.
“Yellowstone” stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser have closed deals to lead a spinoff series about their characters from the hit Paramount Network show, Deadline reported Wednesday.
The show is reportedly being worked on by “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan and will likely feature other cast members from the show in addition to Reilly, 47, and Hauser, 49.
Deadline also reported that the spinoff will be set in the same present-day time frame as the flagship series.
The Post has reached out to reps for “Yellowstone” for comment.
News of the spinoff comes ahead of the upcoming “Yellowstone” Season 5 finale airing Sunday.
While Paramount has said the show is ending after Season 5, there’s been theories that the series could continue for another season at least.
Sources told Deadline that “doing another season is not out of the question,” but the focus on continuing the story of “Yellowstone” is now on the new show about Beth and Rip.
In August, multiple outlets reported that “Yellowstone” may return for a Season 6 with a story that would focus on Reilly and Hauser’s beloved characters
Hauser, 49, told The Post in September that he’d reprise his role as Rip beyond Season 5.
“If Taylor writes it, I would certainly love to do it,” he said. “The cast, you know, I consider them all family. So if Taylor was to do something and bring it and put it on my table, I’m certain I would do it.”
It was announced that “Yellowstone” would end with Season 5 in May 2023 — the same month rumors about Kevin Costner’s exit surfaced amid his alleged feud with Sheridan, 54.
Costner, 69, later confirmed his exit from the series in June 2024.
“I loved it and I know you loved it. I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be returning,” The Oscar winner shared in a video to his fans. “I love the relationships that I’ve been able to develop.”
Costner’s John Dutton was unceremoniously killed off in the Season 5B premiere episode that aired on Nov. 10. The show has also killed off Dawn Olivieri’s Sarah Atwood and Denim Richards’ Colby Mayfield in the supposed final episodes.
There are other “Yellowstone” spinoffs in the works, including an upcoming one called “The Madison” starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, Kurt Russell and Patrick Adams.
The “Yellowstone” Season 5B finale airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on the Paramount Network.
