Yungblud cancels remaining 2025 shows on doctor’s orders

British pop-punk star Yungblud has canceled his remaining 2025 tour dates after his doctor flatly told him to stay home, scuttling November shows in Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.

“I have been ordered by my doctor to take a break from touring until the end of the year,” Yungblud posted on social media Saturday. Also off the table are a handful of shows in Mexico City and elsewhere in Latin America.

The 28-year-old singer and actor said that during his usual post-road health check after the latest leg of his Idols World Tour, “my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns.” The warning pulled him up short.

“It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself into the ground without giving a f–k about anything apart from the music and you guys, but this time I’ve been told I have to take it seriously and can’t f–k around,” Yungblud, whose given name is Dominic Harrison, told fans.

While the Doncaster, England, native did not specify a health problem beyond that, he has been particularly busy of late. In 2024 he launched the music festival Bludfest and published a bestselling book, “You Need to Exist: A Book to Love and Destroy!” This year brought the documentary “Yungblud: Are You Ready, Boy?” which followed him on his Idols tour. “One More Time,” his collaboration with Aerosmith, is set for release on Friday. On top of it all, last month the performer added 24 North American shows to his Idols tour for 2026.

“My heart is broken,” Yungblud said in his statement. “I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself. We are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise, I will make it up to you.”

Besides refunding all tickets, Yungblud said he would send a gift to anyone who shared their address.

“I never take anyone’s love support or energy for granted,” he wrote. “You know you are everything to me. But I need this time.”
