NY Giants co-owner Steve Tisch named in Epstein Files, exchanged emails about connecting with women

New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch was featured among millions of documents in the latest release of Jeffrey Epstein files Friday, appearing to trade emails with the disgraced financier about connecting with women.

In one thread of correspondence in April 2013, Tisch emailed Epstein, then a convicted sex offender, to say he’d just had lunch with a friend of one of Epstein’s assistants. Describing her as a “very sweet girl,” he asked Epstein if he knew anything about her, the documents released show.

“no but I will ask [redacted] (all confidential) I will get all info, did you contact the great ass fake tit [redacted],” Epstein wrote back in a typo-laden response. “shes a character, short term, has an older boyfriend going to acting school, a 10 ass.

I am happy to have you as a new but obviosly shared interest friend.”

Tisch thanked Epstein and said he was “curious to know” about a woman whose name was redacted, inquiring about whether she was “pro or civilian?”

Epstein then told Tisch to send him a cell number as he didn’t “like records of these conversations.” He soon followed up with another email saying the unnamed woman “was not on this trip” and another cryptic email, purportedly about a Ukrainian woman.

“report just in, you did very well , she wants to go to the play„ —-she is a little freaked by the age difference but go slow and wati, i will try to convince her not to return to ukraine, having her crying worked,” Epstein wrote.

The Justice Department released millions of documents early Friday, more than a month after the legally mandated deadline had passed to release the totality of its files on Epstein, barring information that could impact ongoing investigations. The ongoing disclosures come after Congress almost unanimously passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November amid ongoing public pressure to shed more light on the well-connected wealth manager and influential people who may have known about or participated in his abuse.

Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general and Trump’s former personal lawyer, at a press conference said the latest tranche would include more than 3 million documents, including 2,000 videos. Blanche said the government’s review of the files had concluded and pushed back against criticisms coming mainly from Democrats and victims of Epstein that Trump’s DOJ had delayed releasing files to protect the president, who was a close friend of Epstein for years.

“We did not protect President Trump,” Blanche said, claiming the White House was uninvolved in the review of the documents, and the only concern the feds had was protecting victims.

The Giants and Tisch did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Daily News\ on the latest disclosures.

Tisch, the Giants’ executive vice president and chairman of the board, is the Academy Award winning producer of Forrest Gump (1994).

He is the son of the late Preston Robert “Bob” Tisch, the co-founder of the Loews Corporation who purchased a 50 percent share of the Giants in 1991. Tisch and John Mara have functioned as the Giants franchise’s controlling owners for their respective families since the passing of their fathers, Bob Tisch and Wellington Mara, in 2005.

But Tisch has taken a major step back in recent years in the operation of the team since the passing of his daughter, Hilary, in 2020. Loews is now a publicly traded company active in insurance, drilling rigs, natural gas, pipelines and hotels.

Tisch’s brother, team treasurer Jonathan Tisch, has been more present at the helm of the Giants in recent years on behalf of the family. His sister, Laurie, is a member of the organization’s board of directors. The Mara and Tisch families recently sold a 10% minority stake in the franchise to billionaire Julia Koch and members of the Koch family.

In the exchanges released Friday, about a month after Epstein and Tisch emailed about the Ukrainian woman, the men continued talking, the newly-released records show, when Epstein asked Tisch if he wanted to “catchup with woody and i on our walk?”

“Still in NFL meeting,” Tisch replied.

“ok, why dont you stop by after? ill be home you missed some fun,” Epstein wrote back.

Tisch said he had to take his son to a Knicks game but would be free later in the evening. Epstein said “perfect,” and that he’d be home by 9:45 p.m.

“Can I expect ‘trouble’?” Tisch then asked.

“I can invite the russain [redacted] to meet if you like,” Epstein replied.

On June 3, Epstein told Tisch he was still in the Caribbean but would be coming back to the city that week and had a “new present.”

“Is my present in NYC?” Tisch wrote, which Epstein affirmed.

“Can I get my surprise to take to lunch tomorrow?” Tisch wrote back the next day.

On June 10, Tisch told Epstein he hoped they’d catch up in the city and asked if there was someone he wanted him to meet. Epstein responded with a name that was redacted, and when Tisch inquired further, Epstein replied, “tahitian speaks mostly french, exotic.”

The email exchanges came a few years after Epstein in 2008 copped to soliciting a teenage girl for sex in Florida in exchange for a brief jail stint. The widely criticized plea deal with the Justice Department came despite local police identifying dozens of potential victims.

The financier was arrested on sweeping sex trafficking charges in July of 2019 and found dead inside a cell at the now-shuttered Metropolitan Correctional Center about a month later. His death was officially ruled a suicide.
